Summer Band Update

Hi Everyone!

Hope everyyone is having a great summer. It's hard to believe the summer is half over and the Marching Band season is just around the corner. We have a busy next couple of weeks in preparation for the season, so here are the highlights!

Summer Mini Camp
The Marching Band Summer Mini Camp will be held at the high school, Tuesday, July 20th, 9 a.m - 12 p.m., 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. and Thursday, July 22nd, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Don't forget that your camp balance as well as registration and co-curricular activities forms are due by July 22nd.

Uniform Fittings
Uniform fittings for students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades will be August 2nd, 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Students in 9th grade and any straggles will be August 3rd, 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Please make sure that you bring your shoes. If you're a freshman, shoes are available at the fitting. If you have any questions, please call Linda Kahley at 779-0721

Band Shoes
Band shoes can be ordered on August 3rd from 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the band room. Don't forget to bring your white tube socks to insure a comfortable fit.

Band Camp Meeting
This years Band Camp meeting will be held August 4th at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. This is an important meeting that you must attend. We are discussing band camp, the upcoming band season, and new fundraising opportunities. See you there!

New York Trip
We still have a few seats available for our trip to New York City on July 31st. Contact Tina Keeler if you're interested.

West York Band Fall Clothing Sale
Show your Band pride this fall with a new West York Band sweatshirt or jacket! Our fall clothing sale in underway.  All forms are due by August 8th, the day the kids leave for Band Camp.
